Product Details
At about six months old, calves stop suckling and begin to graze — and grass is not the only thing they pick up. Grazing cattle swallow dangerous tramp iron: nails, staples, baling wire. Left unprotected, that metal causes "Hardware Disease" (Traumatic Reticuloperitonitis): cows lose appetite, dairy cows drop milk output, feeder stock stops gaining weight, and severe cases end in serious stomach inflammation and death.
The Simple, Lifetime Fix
Veterinarians give calves a Raksha Pill — a cow magnet — at around six months of age. Once swallowed, it settles in the reticulum (the cow's second stomach) and stays there for the animal's lifetime, attracting and safely trapping tramp iron before it can injure the stomach wall. One magnet, once, protects the cow for life.

No. It remains in the reticulum for the cow's lifetime, continuously attracting tramp iron.
Which model should I choose?
The table above lists each magnet type with diameter, length and weight — rare-earth models offer the strongest attraction; your veterinarian can advise for your herd.
